I am a professional hair and make up artists with over 16 years experience, specialising in bridal hair and make up styling. I have a background working on cosmetics counters, and work with a range of products with I’ve trusted over the years such as Mac cosmetics, Nars and Dermologica.
Hair and make up is an essential part of your bridal look and needs to be perfect to reflect you.
My speciality as a make up artist is to create a natural, romantic, timeless looking make up. My style of make up will always be in fashion, classic, elegant, natural and beautifully flawless. I believe make up should define natural beauty and not be used to change our features.
Wedding Trials
A trial run is essential to try out different looks and styles to ensure that the finished look is perfect for the you as the bride, just like choosing a dress it’s not always easy and may take time and patience to get the right one.
Time is always given on a trial in the our hair and make up studio studio based in Chesterfield to ensure that we can create the final look perfect to reflect a person. I recommend collecting pictures of hair and make up styles to bring to the trial and to book a trial 2-3 months before the wedding day.
Trials can be organised for all the wedding party although this is not essential.

Emma is based at The Hair and Makeup Studio is situated alongside Studio 1 Photography in Hasland, Chesterfield. The hair and make up studio sits proudly within the beautiful grade II listed building that is Penmore house.
The building offers a superb setting for wedding hair and makeup trials with its period features. The studio is bright with natural light and designed to make you feel at home.
I to travel out to other areas such as –
Chesterfield, Sheffield, Bakewell, Matlock, Buxton, Ashborne, Baslow, Dronfield, Derby, Mansfield, Alfreton, Ripley, Workshop and through areas of the peak district.
